What effects MAF calibration?
Quick question trying to determine if I should mash the MAF cal or trust it and I am just seeing error.
1: If I am using the stock MAF but I have a Volant air box and tube: Does this require recal of the MAF?
2: If I went back to stock airbox but aftermarket tube behind the MAF: Does this require a re-cal?
3: Stock airbox and stock tube would NOT need to be tuned for a different intake (TBSS)?

Hot Wire Calibration
Hi SS, the Hot Wire sensor in calibrated for use with the original tube mount housing bore.
The sensor should have THREE diameters of straight tube before the sensor AND TEN diameters of straight tube after the sensor.
This can be corrected by installing a Diffuser before/after the sensor done a way to keep air flow straight/even as it passes the Hot Wire.

Hot Wire Calibration
Hi SS, your Hot Wire sensor is calibrated by the element/housing air flow speed and weight.
There should be THREE diameters of straight tube in front of the sensor AND TEN diameters straight tube after the sensor.
The are some who fit a deffuser .
