Default ECM crank request wire

E67 ECM has a pin for crank request, which I expect energizes the starter solenoid for about 3 seconds without requiring holding the key, or until engine starts. I can not find a schematic that shows if this wire is grounded or energized to activate. Anyone?

What pin # are you talking about. There are different configs depending on app. Steve

its J1-1 on the MEFI 5 version of the ECM, not sure what it is on other versions of the E67. I think all should act the same.....is it positive or ground typically from key switch for ECM to trigger starter?

What are you trying to do with this system. That pin can be set in the software. It usually comes from the crank position on the ign switch.
Pin J1-26 is the hs output that goes to the starter control relay. Steve
