Default My 1st tune, need input please

After a local tuner flaked on me 3 times so far to stop by & work up a base map for me I decided to take a stab at it myself so I can fire up my car.

Its a 3 bar, open loop speed density tune, mods listed below.

5.3
PRC heads
LJMS cam - 222/231 .602"/.598"
Turbonetics 7875
80lb Siemens deka injectors
efisource.com 3 bar map sensor

fuel wise its currently just a -8 line & the stock vette filter/regulator combo. I will be upgrading to an adjustable FPR but my first goal was to get the car running to check for leaks, bleed the cooling system, make sure it doesnt over heat, cruise it around to break the twin disc in etc.

I got the car started tonight but it's pig rich, it settled at about 11.6 on my AEM wideband & occasionally hit 10.8 AFR. I apparently didnt hook my wideband up correctly the HPTuner scanner so it didnt log the AFR directly.

I changed the injector data from the excel sheet for the 80lb deka's everyone uses, changed the map sensor kpa to what I believe was correct, failed the maf & then I copied over some fueling & timing tables from one of the Sloppy Mechanic tunes (attached).

Can anyone take a look and let me know what needs to be adjusted so I can at least cruise it around the block?

Have you adjusted the fueling so that it always works with open loop speed density? Disable short/long fuel trims, Change the Open Loop EQ ratio table to 1 (every cell to start with), set the closed loop enable table to 285 across the board?

What fuel pump do you have? If its anything bigger than a single 340, you're probably seeing rich AFRs because your fuel pressure is crazy high. A single 400/450 overpowers the vette regulator to the point of 75 PSI fuel pressure at idle/cruise.

I'll double check all the fueling trims etc whrn I'm back at my laptop.

as for the fuel pump, it's a walbro 255. I haven't installed the walbro 450 yet.

Just checked my tune & I do in fact have STFT openloop - disabled / LTFT - disabled / Closed loop ECT vs IAT - 285 across the board.

After looking at the data log, I noticed my map sensor is showing +psi at idle, shouldnt it be showing vacuum? Or maybe since 1bar is atmospheric pressure it's showing that & another over 14.7 psi would be actual positive pressure? As you can tell, i'm new to this & trying to learn along the way.

your inlet air temp shows -35 degrees c in the idle log.

that will be throwing 20-30%of fuel in.

connect an IAT sensor in the piping just before the throttle body. -35*C is open circut
