Help!! P0740 tcc solenoid problems Ok so ive searched everywhere and I can't find any solutions to this problem. Mine is slightly different than others I've seen. My car will start and drive fine with the converter locking as it should. It will continue normal
operation until I put my foot down a little and accelerate hard. Then it won't lock up again unless I let it sit for a few hours. My tuner was able to command lock up and it worked. But three dyno pulls in it stopped locking even after commanding it. Let the car sit and bam its locking up like normal again. I swapped out the tcc solenoid and it stopped locking completely. Tuner was able to command lock up and it locks. He ended up removing the code permanently for now and it seems to work like normal. What could be the problem since it does seem to work fine u til it throws the code. I'm not super transmission savvy but I have researched as much as I can. Thanks!
