Reviews of straighline performance Plainfield il hey guys, I talked to these guys at a local show and they seemed to know their stuff and were very professional. Just wondering if anybody here has used them, I'm tired of tuners taking money from me and doing a half assed job because I didn't pay them 30 grand to build my car. Feel free to recommend others that you've had personal experience with on a garage built car i.e.: going in for a tune only. Mods if there is a sponsorship issue or rule I'm breaking here, feel free to remove my post. Thanks to everyone in advance.btw my car is a sloppy type build- project don't bs me to be exact- thx again

I know nothing about Straightline, but i know exactly what you're saying about these big name tuners doing a half *** job because I'm not a high end customer and whatnot. I can't stand that crap. I found I guy who tunes out of his house, and now my tune is significantly better than the "big name reputable shop tune" that I had before. This guy took the time to do it right because he actually cared

Yep, bunch of crap, and at $500/$600 each time, it's even worse, especially when your 5.3 cost $300 bucks. I'm open for local (Illinois) ( chicago area) tuners to work on my car too, if anybody can recommend one they've had good personal experience with, I'm all ears. I have hp tuners also, but I'm no tuner and don't wanna risk blowing my engine again. Any/all help appreciated.
