Default Ls7 power

Im looking to see if anybody else can tell me if the numbers my car put down are adding up. I had a Ls7 built and put into my 02 WS6. I went with 285 prc heads. Texas speed stage 4.2 cam 248/260 .657/.655 111 LSA. With Holley sniper efi low profile 102mm intake manifold and throttle body. I was thinking it would be any where in the mid 500 to the low 600 range in power but my car only put down 476rwhp/412rwtq. Do these numbers sound right?

Not at all. You should be able to make 470 torque on accident.

What do you have for exhaust? Those numbers are way too low

I have bbk headers and bbk y pipe to the single inlet to a flow master 40 series. And it’s a stick shift

Your exhaust is corking it. Your engine could breathe in, but it can't breathe out. Can only inhale as much as you exhale. You should be on dual 2.5" exhaust at a minimum.

I’m going to go with the 3” true duals and we’ll see what it does once I change that out

The outlet of the y pipe likely steps down to 2.5 in.

You need TSP 2” headers and speed engineering 3” duals. What’s your intake setup?

The dyno session ended early due to a racetronix fuel pump failure but at 4,000 rpms my car made 473rwhp and 490rwtq so I'm thinking I'll be somewhere between 550-600 rwhp. My car does have 2" headers with 3" true dual exhaust. I was going to purchase some 285cc heads for my engine but was told that was too much cylinder head for a 427.

Mine was at 6600 when it put down 476 and I have the 285ccheads but I don’t have the true duals yet
