Is it my tune

I have a 1998 camaro with a ls6 intake and btr stage 3 cam...the car has been tuned but when I start it for the 1st time that particular day it idles up and down extremely high about 3 tines and then it levels out....any clues of what this could be is greatly appreciated

Mail order tune? Do you have a scanner?

sounds like it may need a retune adjustment for idle airflow a bit more at cold startup.

edit-how high does it go up to?

It goes up to about 4000 rpms
