maf issue

maf issue I had a problem develop recently with I believe the maf sensor. It happens somewhat randomly at startup. It idles but very lean and won't add fuel with any pedal. If i unplug the maf and start it up it will idle and if i plug the maf back in during idle it will pick back up and run fine. I'm not even sure what to search for at this point.
