How to LS3 DBW TB to LS6 pcm Hey Guys! As the title says, how can i let this happen? Have bought incorrect gold blade LS3 TB nib which i will use on a Fast 102 LSX/R IM and combine with TB harness adapter from casper to my LS6 pcm, did this work? I know about different readings, heard the one reads 0-5V up, the other the opposite way 5-0V but this can be changed in the pcm from the tuner on the dyno, correct? Installed new LS3 TB on car with harness, it all works and opens full, but after 1sec.wot i got limp mode, engine power reduced and blade on TB fully closed abrupt, so there is something wrong, who knows the details here? Thanks in advance, Ron |
I don't know the answer to that question. Someone in the PCM tuning and diagnostic forum might. Maybe you can post the question there or a mod will move the question to that forum. |
Thx, was unsure where to post it, I try my luck in pcm... Greetz Ron |
Sorry man you'e sort of SOL on this one. Ls3 gold blade tb open in the opp direction older throttle bodies. That' why the car goes into limp mode there's no real way around this. You need an 05-07 SILVER BLADE throttle body to work with it. However ifbyou have a 102 manifold already I would skip all that and get a 102 tb really no reason not to. They tune just fine if you have a decent tuner |
Was on this way, but not willing to spend another 700 bucks for NW 102 TB dbw and maybe a 5hp gain here and then I need also bigger cai and maf card style reader so i end on 1 grand, isn't worth it here for the moment, thanks for ur opinion... Regards Ron |

WARR Performance makes 102 TB's that are less than $150 and of good quality. They will need the correct IAC and TPS sensors for the the application. I've seen NW 102 for under $400 a few times. Good luck |
