VSS Pulses per mile out of range

VSS Pulses per mile out of range Have a 1999 lm7 5.3 with stock harness reworked and stock computer from the 1999 truck. I have a 26" tall tire and 4.30 gears. When I go to change the gear/tire wizard it maxes out the vss per mile at 129,536
Doing the math I need about 135,000
How Can I best fix this? Can I go outside of the predetermined window or will I cause some issues that way?

I have something called a speed ratio adapter
bought a couple to use for tire size changes
Ive only used one,the other is still in the box
but they werent cheap ($150 ea)
IIRC it was plus or minus 200% that can be dialed in

Because it's a 1999 truck file, and when I go to change it, that's what it shows as the max value. And if I put in anything higher than that it warns me that it's out of range.

Interesting. I had not thought that an older O/S--PCM would have that limitation. Have you considered doing an O/S change and maybe a different operating system? If the repository was up and working you could look at other O/S from the same year to see if they too have the same limitation.
