Default Stoich to lean sweep

Finally got the gauges working... but i think i MAY have a faulty sensor. The car starts it reads 14.7. Which i thought was odd to start anyway bc it isnt tuned. I didnt think there would be a chance it would be stoich first try. So after a running for a few seconds, the wideband starts to count down.. 14.7-14.6-14.5..etc etc. The car then lets out a pop(which its been doing, im just assuming bc dat untuned idle) but once the car backfires, the wideband sweeps all the way to lean and then reads "---" Has anyone ran into this? This is a fresh build i have been fighting with to get right and this is just the next hurdle.

It is a AEM UEGO wideband, and i have read the sensors do fail from time to time and there is a test to do, so ill be doing that today.

Build Specs:
Fast 92/92, SLP Lid, Stock MAF, GTP Injectors, Walbro 255
FTI Streetsweeper-HT
Stock 243s w. BTR .660 Springs

The wideband always reads 14.7 as its powering up.

You're running way too rich. The sweep to lean is a misfire, they will read as lean.

Thats kinda what i was thinking, but i wasnt sure as the gauge read "---" as apposed to an actual number.

You misunderstand. 14.7 is the default startup display before getting an actual reading.
