Sensors needed to make ls1 run Redoing my 01 corvette harness for my 4.8 swap
Do I need MAF sensor iat sensor ever to make the engine run ?
What sensors are definitely NEEDED to make engine run?
can I still get obd readings without sensors ??
please help I have the harness stripped down & depinned following lt1swap pinout sheet & help from here

You will need the MAF sensor unless you're doing a speed density tune. The computer needs the IAT sensor to make fuel adjustments for fluctuating temperature conditions.
Sensors needed for engine to run correctly are Cam and Crank sensor, IAT,IAC, MAF, Water Temperature, MAP, TPS, O2 Sensor, Not 100% sure if you need Oil pressure or not and you'll probably want to run Knock Sensors.

i depinned iat. Iac & MAF already I have to figure out how to get them ran back on smh

If you are running a GM computer and remove the IAT sensor, the computer thinks it is something like -30 degrees and runs like crap. You can run without MAF if you have something like HPTuners and can fail the maf in the tune.

ok so I really need to just pin back in the iat sensor correct ? When I get it tuned I’ll have them delete the vats MAF ect. Yes running a gm pcm
