PCM With DBC, Flex and 2 bar Real Time Tuning Anyone know of an application that would have come with a P59 PCM that had an OS with these features? Thanks for any info you can offer.

truckdoug, I don't know a lot about all of this so please bear with me. Are you saying you have a file from a computer with those features or that you have a computer with a HP Tuners custom operating system on it? And thank you for the reply.

I have a file with those features, you would need to flash it to a pcm.
Unless you are local to me Portland/Vancouver metro area, If you are looking to buy a computer outright with that setup there are a couple vendors here that could sell you one.

My original thought was to see if I could find a part number for a PCM that had those features, and then see if I could find one in the junkyard, and then license it with HPT. I have a P01 PCM that has DBC, and Flex enabled , but it doesn't have RTT. Is it true that to use your file I would have to license your VIN to be able to transfer it?

Yes with HP Tuners you would need to spend another 2 credits to license the VIN and Serial associated with the file I have in order to flash it to your pcm.
I am not sure what pcm hardware and service number it is from.
Have you read the flex fuel thread? I know it's pretty convoluted, but that is where the file I have is from.

Just so you know, the last time I tried HPT RTT, it still had some bugs. Truthfully, it was bad enough to consider it useless. They do constant updates, so the situation may be different now. All of the offline functions still seemed OK, but RTT just never seemed to work right.
I had okay success with it as long as I only logged as few channels as possible to make the histo for the RTT work.
But yeah nowdays its easier for me to have two or three channel configs for different tuning, idle config, maf err % , ve err % etc..
