Limp Mode Issue

Limp Mode Issue Ran into an issue after filling my tank. Forgot to put gas cap on and drove away. Mashed gas hit 7k shifted drove down the street next thing I know car shuts down into limp mode. After cycling key car ran fine before going back into limp mode. Was able to get car home and hook up scanner. Reading codes 461 and 463 . After cleaning codes and driving car around block code 463 comes back and car is back in limp mode. I doubt these codes are what is putting the car into limp mode buts its all I have to go by right now. Its an ls2 motor with a E38 ECM in a first gen Camaro. Car usually runs fine without any issues. Never had a problem in years of driving it. Any ideas where to look.?

Did you put a gas cap back on? The EVAP system will set a code if the cap is off.
Code 463 indicates fuel level sensor malfunction. Curing usually involves replacing the sensor.
Code 461 indicates erratic sensor function, like the float moving too quickly.

Thanks and yes I did put the gas cap back on and put in 5 gallons of gas. Wouldn't think that these codes will put the car in limp mode. I don't have an EVAP system on my car, typical ricks tank with fuel vent line. Have to see where the code is coming from and how it impacts going into limp mode
