HP support for custom OS for 98's ?

HP support for custom OS for 98's ? Was under impression HP supported a custom OS for a 2 bar tune for 98's and have actually read posts on this forum with many successful attempts at doing so.
But now read this post as of 2017 and it says no they don't. Is this a recent decision or am I interpreting the answer wrongly?

BTW - I have EFI live V1. EFI live does not provide a custom OS for 98's so was thinking about switching to HP Tuners but might as well not if I can't.
Yes - I know. Simply do the switch and upgrade the PCM and the harness.

It's disturbing to read that HP support says no.

"I'm making a tune for Procharged LQ4 controlled with 1998 Camaro LS1 PCM but when I tried to get 2 bar SD tune there are not option on my HPT then I contacted to hpt suppont and they responded me:

Calibration is: 9375574
So my PCM would be supported or NOT if I want to stay with an SD tune? I don't want to change to have to change my intercooler piping back to MAF.
If so (yes it does) I will call you today and buy MVPI2

I just opened a bunch of random 98 fody tunes I have done and all of them were OS 1980100 but some did have different calibration #'s, all of them had the 2 bar OS upgrade available though. We have done the 2 bar upgrade on several 98's in person without any issues. If for some reason you so have odd calibration that isnt supported we can can change it to one that is but it require you mailing the pcm to us. It maybe cant be done with hpt but I have never tried it that way, we use GM software when changing the calibration like that.
