Default Holley EFI 58 to 24 wheel

Hey everyone I got a odball question. I picked up a ls1 I want to toss in my car that has a gen4 motor in it now running Holley Efi.

I want to run the gen4 cam gears and front cover but 24 tooth crank.

Anyone know now what changes would have to be made to the sensors, wiring and obviously changing it in Holley? Or is better to just swap to a gen 4 crank or change the reluctor wheel?

Is there a way to change it within the Holley ECM?

cam reluctor wheel may need be to swapped to 2x, im pretty sure you can change it somewhere in the holly ecm to read 24x.

The wiring changes needed should be in the Holley manual. Setting will need to changed under the ignition tab to custom then select the crank and cam sensor being used.

I'm not sure the Holley system even looks at the cam sensor. When Hot Rod did some cam tests a while, back they used the Holley system because they were testing Gen III and IV cams, and they did not have to mess with the differences in cam sensors. The Holley system accounted for it a different way.

It needs it unless you want to run batch fire. Wouldn't they use a front mount sensor for all cams, They wouldn't have to change anything but the cam itself with each change.

We have done a few, you have to move some wires on the harness because one uses 12v and one uses 5v then change ignition setting in Holley.
