4L80E Shift Issues
Normal cruising around is fine, but when I mash the pedal it’s like it hits a wall and then jumps back up, down again and back up (feels like you let completely off the pedal and then mashed it again). It’s not a fuel or lean condition (no knock logged either). Did see spark drop to zero at WOT on datalog. Messed with BlueCat trans tuning software to input for stall (2800 stall and couple other areas). Didn’t make a difference with WOT shifts (still does same thing). Any suggestions? Thought maybe rev limiter, shift rpm/mph issues or something along that line (I’m at a loss though). Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
It was a swap in a 68 Camaro with long tubes. I was using Tunercat to tune so not sure if you will have the same result.
