Newbie 2011 Gen 5 Camaro Newbie here.
Just picked up a gen 5 Camaro and I gotta lot of questions with regards to ecm ‘s and engines. Maybe I’m barking up the wrong tree here but I picked up a V6 chassis ( no engine or tranny) . 35 k km’s On the car. I have a LQ4 6L ready to go in with harness and ecm and a 4L80e. Is there any way to have the chassis computer work with the old ecm or did I buy a slug of a project? Other options ? Where I live the wreckers are charging $10-15k for tired LS3.
My intentions with the car is to street it as well as drag it. I'm new to electronics and trying to figure out what I need.
