2000 formula with an 6.0, tr228r, 80lbs dekas, boost regulated, china gt45 turbo, 85mm throttle body, ls6 intake. Im running a p59 computer with iac on the firebird and having a startup flare then die. It will idle pretty good if I keep the throttle at around 10% and slowly lower it to 0%. But initial cold start it dies.

Tried that not much of a difference. Got the car fired up and idled till fully warmed up. Noticed the IAC counts were almost maxed so I enlarged the throttle body bypass hole in reference to this http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/to...sing-hptuners/. Now she starts pretty well. Needs a few tweeks but ill figure it out the rest of the way. Thanks again.

Idle tuning sucks. Have you watched my guide on tuning the IAC? Give that a try. 90% of it is actually in the throttle blade adjustment, not the IAC. You want the hot counts down in a range from 20-60 or so, could be a little higher or lower, but it gives it room to open when the car is cold.
