Default 98 T/A engine wiring

having PCM problems with 98 would it be easier to just swap engine harness to a 99/02 harness. know the later as more tuning capabalities and my gauge cluster would need to be change but what about sensors

It's actually easier to swap the PCM itself, but you will have to repin it. The harness is pretty similar, and so long as the harness is good and you're problem is indeed the PCM, it's quicker to repin that thing than tear all the old wiring out.

I have repinned several. At first it's a 2 day's deal so not a problem. Cluster is the same, everything works if you flash the correct tune to the 99+ PCM
