Idle issues I swapped my ls6 to a ls2 based 402 in a 2003 z06 to start. I’ve been working with a tuner on a base tune and we’ve been back and forth but I have an idle issue and am looking for ideas that could be on my side that the tuner has not have a chance to see first hand. Now the car fires and idle fine cold. Once it reaches full operating temperature and I come to a stop the rpms drop to about 1,400 and stay for about 10 seconds then drop down to 900 or so. After you’ve driven for a bit longer when you come to a stop the rpms will drop below idle to 50 +/- and on occasion die or work its way back up to its proper idle. Often with a little help and throttle play you can get it back to were it needs to be and it will stay at idle. If anyone has an idea on something to check or does it sound like just a tuning issue.
