Ecm pulls timing in 3rd

Ecm pulls timing in 3rd 83 cutlass ly6/whipple 2.9 Mast vvt cam / mast ecm /4l85 etc...
running 93 meth/water 18* timing . Car will pull 4-5 * in 3rd gear . If I back off 1/2 throttle then hit it again , it’s fine . Running 12-13 lbs boost . when car was on the dyno , guy said there was no knock @20* seems to happen on the street. IATs are 25 over ambient. I was hoping someone could help me understand the knock tables maybe adjust burst knock? Thanks
