Could something be physically moving and shorting out the power wire under hard acceleration?

Which car? sometimes, under hard acceleration, 98-02 f-bodys without their holddowns on, battery leans back, causing gremlins.
Look for arc spots.

^^^^^^^^^^This. I remember reading something like this a while back in these forums. This post brought that back to me.

My car is a 73 Corvette with 2002 Ls1 from a 2002 WS6 Trams Am. I have a 10 amp fuse and the ecm and fuel pump share the same fuse. Going to try a 15 amp fuse.I shook all the harness and nothing happened. Going to find a good road and try it out tomorrow. Will update tomorrow.

I would put the ECM and pump on separate fuses. The way it is now you don't know which one could be blowing the fuse.

I was wrong about fuses. There are 3 fuses 1 pcm ingnition 2 fuel pump 3 pcm battery. It runs fine till you stomp on the gas peddle. Do you think the tps sensor could be bad ? Thanks Charlie.

I found the problem.A terminal was sticking out of the plastic connector on the mass air flow sensor. It was grounding out on full throttle. Runs fine now no blown fuse.

Thanks, it's always nice when someone comes back on here and posts a fix.

Glad you found the issue.
But you should still separate those loads if you can.
