Tech2 question for the GM gurus Odd question for any GM techs lurking.....
Planning a 4.8 or 5.3 swap into a Jeep with a 0411 PCM, and I intend on making 2 mods through HPTuners: adding electric fan functionality (wired like a Camaro), and wiring in a oil pressure sender out of a Corvette that will allow for oil pressure readings to be sent through serial data to a tablet dash. Since GM never produced a LM7 or LR4 with these options, if I wanted to test the cooling fan functionality through Tech2 for any reason, could I select a LS1 Camaro of the same year and have the Tech2 talk to the PCM to turn the fans on even though it has a truck calibration and VIN?
