Limp Home Mode question
Limp Home Mode question Hi Guys! First post here. I hope someone can help me out.
Does the car go into the Limp Home Mode every time the engine light comes on or only when certain codes are set? How long does the car remain in the limp home mode? Is it until the light goes off or when the code is cleared? Thanks a buch for any info!

Limp home mode will come on if you have an old ST3500 and drive around town in OD. If your trans temp gets too high, or if you have the converter stalled above 3k rpm for more than 3 seconds.
Probably a couple other reasons that I don't know about.
