HPP3 problems/questions Ok heres the deal. I bought a hypertech for my 99 firehawk and the screen said something weird so i called hypertech and the guy said that the HPP3 i had was an older style and that my cars computer was "too new" for that tuner. Well I sold it to a guy but now the guy told me that it still needs to be programmed back to stock. my question is how do i program it back to stock if i cant even begin to program anything. How do i do this?

You never originally programmed anything? If you bought it any never programmed with it, there's no way it could read go back to stock. Either that or it was used before you got it. If you were able to program before, try plugging it in again and hopefully it will read that your program was overwritten and attempt to reestablish a connection. That has happened to me before. If you have a reciept still it could be sent back to hypertech a be fixed.
