E38 lsx454 cranks no start

Im chasing a crank no start issue . my cars a Ve Hsv Senator , same as a pontiac g8.
The original Pcm was corrupt so bought a 2nd hand Pcm and flashed in Vin
What im seeing in HP scanner is when i key to start the crank decode mode goes from 58x to disable and itll crank with a backfire occasionally.
Ive tried with Vats enabled and disabled , no change. Ive checked all possible electrical faults, grounds are all good. I think it may be immobilising .
Any ideas??????

Hit the basics. See if the plugs are firing and if the injectors are pulsing. See if you have proper fuel pressure. After that, things become a little more complicated.

Sorted now. Installed a 3rd crank sensor and it fired straight up.
