Engine stalling and running erratically at times I have a 74 c10 with 5.3 4l60e swap. The truck fires up and idles fine and all of a sudden it will idle real low then catches itself back up or completely shut off. Then it'll immediately fire back up once I turn the key. I did have a code for and maf but it's in speed density. I thought it would be a fuel pump issue so I replaced both filter and pump and it does the same thing. So I drove it put it in the highway fine but in stop and go traffic and low speed it stalls and cut off in traffic. I catch hell trying to start it. Some times it takes a couple of times but when it does it runs erratically and BOOM it runs like a champ but cuts off. I can have it to the floor under the erratic condition and it will cut off. I don't get it. I checked all of my connections grounds 12v key constant. It's firing on all 8. Idk what else it can be. Has anyone been down this road before?
