Wideband reading 5v all the time

Wideband reading 5v all the time I have me aem x series wideband installed, the gauge reads fine, 14.7-15 at idle. I tried to wire it into my ac pressure switch, I wires the white wire from the sensor into the red/black wire on the sensor. When the sensor heats up, it reads 5v constantly but the gauge still reads 14.7, is it a bad gauge or what?

Try running it straight to a ground and see if that does the trick. Mine is grounded on my HPT Pro input, pin 5, and the signal wire on pin 1, so I know it uses one. You don't have to run the ground into the sensor, as far as I know, but it should still be grounded to something.

If it's reading, then you can ground it pretty much anywhere solid. After that, make sure the gauge matches the input in the scanner, or is close with the correct transform. If you look in my signature, I have guides for this stuff, one such guide covers how to get the input into the scanner and make it match the gauge. Only change the offset to match the gauge.
