P0101 I get this code and the engine shuts off. I replaced the maf sensor, still same issue. I get normal readings from it.

would a bad map sensor or wrong map sensor cause this I’m running an ls3 map sensor on my 98 corvette, this was suppose to be tuned for, could this be the issue ?

what triggers the code is really the question, how does the car know?

 

Check all your connections. If the MAF is known to be good that will likely be the issue.

 

Check your connections to the MAF. Also, to my knowledge the car should still run if the MAF fails. Can you Provide a copy of the tune?
