Default Tech II Expert Needed in Arizona

I need to find a Tech II expert in AZ to help me do VIN changes on 0411 PCM's. I have the Tech II but am not familiar with the procedure. I would like to find someone to do it using my T-II or walk me through it.

We change VIN's in pcm's almost every day but not with a tech2, we are usually putting non gm vins in for swaps. I dont think your going to be able to use a tech 2 to just change the vin in the pcm without changing the calibration to match that vin.

Thanks for your response. That is exactly what I want... Correct OS and calibration for my VIN. I will then tune the calibration with my licensed HPT VIN. What are you using to do your VIN changes?

If your just wanting the stock tune and correct OS for your VIN a tech 2 will do that. You will need to log into SPS license your VIN then select replace pcm when your going through the menus. At one step you will have to type in your VIN and slect yr make and model and it will rewrite the pcm.

Default Vin change

A tech 2 alone will not program a vin, you need tech2000, has to be connected to the buss,
