Trans tune for D1 Brake
Trans tune for D1 Brake Hey LS family, I got myself a Jake's Stage 4 4l80e with a D1 brake (I prefer to shift myself). I'm trying to figure out how to keep the trans from shifting out of 1st to 2nd while the shifter is in the D1 position. From my experience 4l80e's will shift into 2nd even if you have the D1 Urban file in the tune maxed out. If anyone has figured this out and care to share their experiences, and most of all the fix please jump in and give details to point me in the right direction. Thank you.
I have the version that also allows automatic shifting, as well as the "D1 Transbrake" Low/1st gear only transbrake, and if manually in low gear, it absolutely, positively will not shift unless I move the shifter to 2nd.
My HPTuners' Shift Scheduling "D1 URBAN" settings are maxed out for the 1 > 2 and 2 > 3 upshifts
