Wiring issue
Hi Guys, I'm not sure if this is in the right place or not but I'm having an issue with my 2001 LS1.. This is installed in a 1972 Camaro, and while doing some maintenance work I came across a few ground wires out of the ECM harness that are burned up. One of the wires is grey/white and goes down to a sensor that is located on the pass side of the oil pan (oil temp sensor??). The other is black/white but I can not tell where it goes.
I have gone through all the wiring diagrams I have and they do not show either of these 2 wires.. I'm trying to figure out what these are for as well as why they have burned the insulation off of the wires.. the only code that it has stored is PO650 MIL control circuit malfunction..
Any help or insight into this issue would be greatly appreciated!

Could they have laid against the passenger side exhaust manifold? What is the donor harness out of - what vehicle, what year. What PCM type - P01 or a P59, something else??
Have you looked at the diagrams posted at LT1Swap.com?

No, they were not close to anything hot... I will look at LT1 swap, thank you!
