06 to 01 wiring Put a 2006 6 litre in place of my 2001 4.3
any one know how to wire the 06 in to the 01 stock fuse box and plugs underneath
Took whole engine wiring harness and pcm from 06
Also what would it take to put cruise in the 01 from the 06
seat oils it be better to switch whole column and wiring harness that in cab

Silverado or S10 truck? If full size leave the column and cab wiring alone. You should be able to remove the V6 engine harness from the bottom of the underhood fuse center and just plug in the V8 harness. To use the 2006 PCM you will also have the use the DBW pedal, TAC module and harness, all should simply bolt in. Not sure on the cruise, should be able to flash it in when you have the PCM flashed for the new chassis. Do a search in the conversions section here, many have done this exact swap.
