2007 monte carlo ss tuning help
i have a 2007 monte carlo with the ls4 in it. i recently built the engine with the following parts installed jegs fabricated aluminum intake, trick flow 220 heads with 2.055/1.60 valves, full roller rockers shaft mounted, 102 mm throttle body, cold air intake, dod delete plate, and a ls9 camshaft. my question is not sure where to start with the tuning. the car doesnt want to idle very long and this is definately a newb question but what ecm do i have? and which parameters should i begin to change?

Are you planning to tune with HP Tuners? If yes, check their forum for intro to tuning links, videos and books.
A 102mm throttle body is WAY too big for this engine and will make it very difficult to tune; probably impossible for a newbie.
Or are you planning to use a handheld tuner? I don't know them personally, but I suspect this major changes (even if you go back to a 90mm TB) will be too much for them.
My suggestion is to get a proper TB and send the ECU to one of the sponsor and/or highly regarded tuners for a mail-order tune.

This is a very good idea. After you get it tuned correctly with the smaller throttle body, you can switch out to the bigger and try to tune it. But from my experiance I'd have to agree, that throttlebody is too big
