I have swapped out my 350 chev for an LS1, I used an engine from a 2002 Holden commodore, basically an earlier 4 door Pontiac GTO,

2002 VX Commodore donor
Engine has 24x reluctor wheel and cable TB, I need a PCM to run it and can buy one on e-bay with vats remover and a reflashed tune, PCM is 411 with red / blue connectors which is what my loom has.
Yes I can buy 1 local, but at $500 for a used pcm and then add $350+ for vats delete, e-bay deal is to good even with exchange rates and import tax.

Seller wants to know what year and model vehicle tune to load on the pcm, What year Camaro or Firebird tune should I have them load that will be best for this swap. Car weights 3000lbs with T56 g-box

The 2002 OS 12212156 is generally considered the most advantageous of the Gen III systems for tuning purposes. I run it on my 2000. It's the same for Camaro and Firebird.
