What’s going on everyone,
I’m a new poster but I’ve always observed threads from the outside trying to troubleshoot some pro I’ve been having after buying a 98 Camaro 3.8L back in April...
Long story short my car cranks and will get from point A to B, but catch is... I have to almost always tap the gas to keep idle.
Here’s the catch, I replaced the MAF, TPS, PCV valve, fuel filter, all brand new. Took apart the throttle body; cleaned her out and she still won’t hold idle. The car will stall in traffic if I don’t watch the RPM. Changed the spark plugs, an oxygen sensor. Driveshaft went out, I just bought another one and had it replaced. Just got the car yesterday and it still won’t hold idle.
I’m honestly lost at this point, any suggestions?
I’m not as knowledgeable about cars as I could be
