The Cam isnt THAT big Part 2
The combo :
The car: LS3 Swapped 1989 Formula, 550 crank HP, 440 RWHP.
The cam: 232/236, .600 lift, 112 LSA
The transmission: 4L60E, Yank 3400 9.5" converter
ECU: GM Factory unit from a 5.3 Silverado . 12208322 OS
Injectors : 12576341 LS3 units - running a non intake-referenced fuel pressure reg at 58 PSI.
LS3 MAF in custom inlet ducting
Throttle Body: 92 mm Nick Williams, cable driven
Linson sent his ECU to me to see If I can help with some nagging issues. I dont claim to be an expert but have some experience. I have HP tuners and had a look at some things.
From that thread :
"but the car will stall in some low speed conditions (especially reversing) unless the throttle is managed just right"
One thing that jumps out at me is the dynamic airflow RPM high rpm disable has been set to 400 RPM. Whereas stock is around 4000 ? So its in MAF mode all the time. Since he is running an LS3 MAF there are some questions about if it was calibrated on the car thoroughly.
