2006, LS2, coolant pressure sensor?
Q: Does this year have a coolant pressure sensor?
Driving home today, stoplight, as tradition beckons I juice it.
Little down the street, car goes into limp mode and start seeing vapor from hood, get a low coolant notification. Get home (was only 2 miles out) see an obvious crack in the top plastic portion of the radiator, lots of coolant everywhere. Ok open and shut case, radiator failed. But how the heck did the ECU know to go into limp mode? Is there a pressure sensor or something for the coolant? BTW I plugged in my OBDT reader and the only code I'm getting is related to a throttle position switch (havent had that since I replaced the throttle body like 8k ago). Surely splashing coolant didn't trigger this code? Is the car capable of going into limp mode from drastic coolant loss?
