Locked ECU I bought a used 2000 camaro. boy what a mess A4 to M6 conversion, wires are hacked up. IDK how I missed all this crap. The ECU is locked, I have a random no start/dying while driving I'm chasing. Happened after 300 miles. I wanted to turn off the VATS but its locked and the previous owner has no clue.
Does the EFI live unlocking software work? The car has heads, cam, intake and I believe its swapped to M6 in the ECU, no codes so I'd like to save the tune. How do I get into this and save the tune. Does anyone Vin flash ECU's or could recover this? I need to pass NYS inspection and the wrong vin will deferentially fail me.
