Default 99 T/A rebuilt motor

Hows it going everyone, I recently had my stock 5.7 rebuilt at a local machine shop and I noticed on the receipt they went 10/10 on the crank and 020 on the block. I was wondering if the increase in cylinder bore would work with the factory settings on my ECM or should I take it somewhere to be tuned? It's my daily driver. Thanks in advance.

If it's a full stock overhaul you should be fine tune-wise
Is that a Gen I 350 or a Gen III LS1? I ask because you can't bore an LS1 .020. You normally can't bore them more than .005. The liners are THIN on LS1's

G Atsma. Thanks for your reply, The motor is a stock 1999 5.7 346 cid LS1 that came with my Trans Am from the factory. I bought some gas that had a bunch of water in it and ended up hydro locking the motor. The machine shop that rebuilt the motor for me put on the receipt that it had a bent push rod and when I got the motor back they replaced one of the heads, 4 valves, 1 push rod, lifter lash adjustment, valve job, and cam bearings, It also says, grind v8 10/10 and bore block 020.

I'd call and confirm they actually machined it .020. It's possible that it's a generic line item for their receipts, though that would be pretty lazy of them to do.

Hydrolocking via the EFI system? I don't think so. It can't spray enough in a spinning engine to hydrolock it. It would have to spray close to 70 cc PER INJECTION to do that, as the valves opening every other stroke would vent it out. Either you or your mechanic better learn more about how the fuel system runs or there is something fishy going on here.
Water in the gas tank WILL NOT hydrolock an engine, nor bend a pushrod!
A hydrolocked engine WILL bend a connecting rod, but never a pushrod. Even in a chamber full of fuel/water, the valve trying to open would relieve the pressure immediately.

G Atsma. I might be using the wrong word for what happened to it. I put gas in it and it died on me about a quarter mile down the road. It would start back up but wouldn't stay running for very long. I towed it back to the house and thought it was the fuel pump so I ordered a new one and after installing it nothing changed. I then loaded the parts cannon and fired away until the barrel melted down with no change in the way it ran. when I finally figured out that it was watered down gas it was too late. when it started up with real gas in it you could hear something bouncing around inside the motor and it had a dead miss. One of the plugs was gapped at 0.00 when I pulled it out, and that's when I sent it to the machine shop.
