An important aspect of a build is often overlooked, the health of your injectors. After having issues with the company we were using for injector cleaning we bought our own machine.
The machine is awesome and its impressive how much a difference cleaning injectors can make and see it first hand. We had a set of truck injectors that were sent to us that had been sitting a year with fuel in them, one was hung open and one wouldnt spray at all. After an hour of cleaning and servicing all 8 flowed within a few cc/min of each other and none leaked.

One of my customers pulled his intake as a unit while doing engine work. He didn’t empty the E85 out of the rails....now open to air. FIC 2150’s and 4 were stuck when he fired after it was all back together.
Sent the injectors to a local shop. $200 to clean and flow. But the data they returned was hard to make sense of.
I imagine you will have to clean a few sets to pay to pay for that. 😊
It was really expensive but worth it IMO. The time savings not having to ship them out and also knowing the real results makes it worth it. We use FIC's in almost everything. I just flowed 2150's from one of our texas mile cars, send me your data and I can compare it or explain it to you if you want.

From time to time, I get boat injs. The customer has usually been screwed for cleaning. They pump the bullshit that they are "marine injs", and are special.
