I just recently had my Camaro tuned on "E85" and it idles and drives just fine, but I noticed my AEM wideband was reading lean. I hooked up HP Tuners and where the ECM commands ~10:1 AFR for stoich, the wideband O2 is reading around 15.5:1 AFR on both the scanner and the gauge itself. I can also see the factory narrowband O2's reading stoich and switching, so am I correct in thinking the AEM sensor is toast?
Your wideband is displaying the gas scale, its bets to switch to lambda and then it will the same no matter what fuel your running.
Thanks for the help, that was it. I was advised to just ignore AFR and just concern myself with Lambda when I got HP Tuners, but I was stubborn. Lesson learned!
If its on gas scale it will just display the same AFR values your used to seeing. On E85 and especially if you do flex fuel then lambda is alot easier. In the end they are just scales and you can covert from one to another.
