been a while but NEW question OK
I am nearing the finish line with my swap. I have an lq4 with a summit 8701 stage 2 cam, long tube headers, dual 3" exhaust, new guts on low end, 2002 camaro intake and throttle body, NEW t56 magnum trans (cha ching). I have made my own harness using LT swap and now have HP tuners set up. LOOOONG road. I searched the HPT tune repository and found stock tunes but I was hoping for the jackpot at least getting a tune close to my mods. No dice. Is there anywhere else I can go? I do realize I will NOT be able to plug and play but I want to get as close as possible so I can at lease compare tunes and get close to a base tune before I tweak. I will send pics as this is a 2yr ordeal but hopefully not disappointing. Goodness knows the main lesson I have learned is this is NOT a low cost hobby but my son and I have persisted. I'm hoping 450hp in 3000 lb vehicle will be the rush we dreamed it would be and the memories will be priceless.
We have cut no corners and I'm confident this is something of a head turner at the local cars n coffee. Please comment.
