Gear Ratio change to a E39 ECM

I’m running a LFX V6 and a 6L50e and I just changed gear ratios from 3.07 to 3.50. Can this be changed remotely? Or does someone need the whole car or just the ECM?
Any idea what something like this cost?
I’m in the San Francisco Bay Area.

You might be able to do this with a tire size change. Have never done it myself, but try search for that here and on camaro5.com.

Do you mean physically change the tires? No, I just want to get the ECM recalibrated.

No, not change the tires physically. Change the tire settings. As I said I have never done this, but I recall reading about it...

But yesterday I found a device from Hypertech called a speedometer calibrator that will adjust for tire size and gear ratio. The ratio selections are fixed ut there is a 3.55 which is pretty close to my 3.50. But it doesn’t show it works for my 3.6 V6. I’ve got a all into Hypertech.
They also show a tuner that will do the same thing and tune the engine/trans. That model will work with my engine/trans.
I’m wondering if it’s better to buy something like this or find someone with a HP Tuner. And whether tha person with the HP tuner needs my whole car, just the ECM or can do it from remote.
