98 to 99-02 PCM swap help
98 to 99-02 PCM swap help I know there are stickies about this but I was hoping to get some fresh replies from some of you guys that have recently done this.
I am putting a 98 LS1/4L60E in a 70 RS Camaro, I already had this setup running and driving in a 71 GS 455 Buick. I am doing a full resto of my Camaro and while it is down I want to change the 98 pcm out for a 99 - 02, Is this really as simple as swapping the pcm and repinning some of the wires? Also, what is the best place to get a pcm? I cannot get a 98 tune good enough for me. I can never make the trans shift right. Never have issues tuning 99 up cars.
