Default Harness and PCM question

So in doing my LS swap for my 1992 Camaro. I have a standalone harness that I bought offline. The harness is your standard DBC setup and has the red/blue wire blocks, but I happen to already have a Blue/green PCM that I got from a previous harness used for a truck. Is this going to make a difference at all or is it all the same?

The red connector won’t plug in unless you grind off locator.

O2 sensor wiring is different between the two.

I like to use the 02 Camaro tune file and red/blue P01 ecu. It just simplifies the whole process

So you're saying no, fair enough. By chance you know which cars or trucks at the junkyard might have a red/blue PCM? The one near me has a V6 4th gen Camaro, but I think thats a 94(maybe 97).

02 and earlier cars and trucks generally.
You would be looking for the last 4 digits of the service number tag. 4896 or 0411

These questions have all been answered over and over in these forums. This site has a search function that "normally" works good enough. In the occasions where it does not work, most forum members are happy to help. Just don't expect every answer to be spoon fed to you, or you will be sorely disappointed. In other news, while doing the research on what you think you need to know, you will probably find a lot of other info you did not even know that you needed to know.

2001/2002 S10 4.3 pickups and blazers, Astro and Safari vans, Express vans and full size pickups, and SUV's all have red / blue PCM's
