P01 Problem Childs I have 3 P01's that have various issues and can't be read with HPT.
I know they aren't impossible to find, but I hate to throw them in the recycle bin.
One has an EFI live COS and is tuner locked.
One came from a local stand alone harness guy and he did the VATs thing etc, but somehow it ended up with the letter Y in the VIN and Serial number fields. HPT will read it but won't license it. I spoke with him and he used Tuner Cats but didn't know how the VIN and Serial number got corrupted.
And the last one came right from the boneyard and will read for 60 seconds or so then comes up with a checksum error.
Anything I can do to save these?
I'm capable with the electronics.
