p0107 MAP code. I have an LS3 480 hp crate motor with the gm performance wire harness. Having trouble trying to fix this problem. Have looked up this but still haven't found the answer. description of things I did that may or may not have caused this. 1.When i hooked up the wire harness I didn't use the little jumper that they supply. I cut the harness and soldered the plug direct, matching the wire colors from one to the other. Which I come to find out wasn't correct. orange and green wires are reversed. That's what the jumper they supplied did. fixed that and replaced the MAP sensor. 2. the harness has three feet of extra wire going to the PCM I carefully took out 30" of it soldering each connection one at a time. 3. I also shortened the wires on the O2 sensors. Which I noted later in the factory directions said not to do. oops. Also not sure if this could be a ground issue? Have also checked continuity from MAP plug to the PCM. have tried to reset but check engine light comes back on. Not sure did I damage the PCM with wires reversed? Thanks if anyone can help!
