CJ7 swap Hello all, I’m a new member from outside Athens, Ga. I have completed an LS swap from a 2002 Z71 suburban into a CJ7 as a wedding present for my daughter. I know and yes I love my daughter. It is a straight swap and nothing radical. It’s the LS with 4L60E trans. I got it running and all seemed good drove it down the road and I thought I had it done but I now I have a ruff running or hard to start engine. I am getting a P0101 code for a MAF out of range. It is a new (Amazon purchased) MAF. I have 12v to the Pink wire, grounds have continuity to ground and I get 4.8 volts on the yellow wire at key on. When it ran I could get a MAF airflow rate reading on my scanner. I drove it maybe a half mile and it just started running ruff and died. Won’t start or acts like it wants to start and dies. This is when I get the P0101 code. Any diagnostics I can do here?
Second issue is I do not get a fuel trim reading (short or long) on my scanner when it was running I have checked the wires to the O2 sensors. I’m only running the forward sensors. Grounds are good, 12v to the pink wire and my scanner detects between .43 and .45 volts. Why would I not be able to read fuel trim as I believe this could be causing my MAF code.
This is my 1st LS but I’ve done two 5.0’s in my 72 and 76 Broncos. I did all the wiring as well.
